The Silver Chain
By Primula Bond

Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance
Source: from Publisher via Netgalley

Bound by passion, she was powerless to resist.

One dark evening in London, photographer Serena Folkes is indulging her impulsive side with a night-time shoot. But someone is watching her – mysterious entrepreneur Gustav Levi. Serena doesn’t know it yet, but this handsome stranger will change her life forever…

Serena is fascinated by Gustav, the enigmatic owner of the Levi Gallery, and she soon feels an irresistible pull of attraction. The interest is mutual, and Gustav promises to launch Serena’s photographic career at his gallery, but only if Serena agrees to become his exclusive companion.

To mark their agreement, Gustav gives Serena a bracelet to wear at all times. Attached to it is a silver chain of which he is the keeper. With the chain Gustav controls Serena physically and symbolically – a sign that she is under his power.

As their passionate relationship intensifies, Gustav’s hold on the silver chain grows stronger. But will Gustav’s dark past tear them apart?

A seductive and beautifully written novel for erotic romance fans. The Silver Chain is the first in the sexy, passionate and addictive Unbreakable Trilogy by Primula Bond.

The next book in the trilogy, The Golden Locket, is out in ebook on 21st November and paperback on 19th December.

God forbid. I have not finished this book. But it was a work of art and I needed to review it.

Okay. Um. As much as I want to give praise to this book, I just can't seem to find the right words for it. Errr~ I know this book is someone else's baby and I just don't want to really disappoint the author because she has poured so much of her time writing this book but this isn't for me. Not my cup of tea. *sorry*

I don't want to lie. I love London. I mean, who doesn't? Primula is from UK so it's very normal that I got to experience a unique writing...with the use of British English. It was fun. I'm not even lying.

First off, the whole story was a terrible mess. It was hot but just really terrible. Gustav Levi is alright, alright but he wouldn't stand a chance to win if he were compared to hot stuffs like Christian Grey or Remington Tate or Gideon Cross. *im trying so hard, please bear with me* the heroin, Serena, who I really disliked, was selfish, a hypocrite, immature and just really really selfish. It didn't even help that she's had a dark past and I have to give credit for that.

Once and for all, Serena should have a common sense that when she agreed to join Gustav, she should be ready to take it all in. Accept what she sees but what did she do? She went mad and ran like some psycho. Seriously? Why did she do that for? Did she not think first before she even agreed? I mean, come on! When will you ever grow up?

I don't know if I am still going to be able to continue reading the other stories but I just want to forget the whole bunch of things that happened. It was nice knowing them but I guess it really wasn't for me.
