The Demon…

I’ve been fighting my own demons for most of my life. The alcohol seems to numb the pain, but it never makes the nightmares go away. All I want in life is a little peace. When I met my angel it felt like I found it, but there is so much standing between us. Why does she have to be so young…?

The Demon’s Angel…

Meeting Drake was the best thing to ever happen to me. I found my friend, my soul mate. But he lets my age stand between us. There is something that haunts him, and I selfishly want to be the one that helps him conquer his ghosts. If he would just let me in, let me closer, I think I could help him…

Terri Anne Browning...

Hated school and reading until her aunt handed over her first romance novel at the age of twelve, as crazy aunts tend to do. It gave her a passion for the written word that has only increased over the years. At sixteen she started writing her own novellas, forcing her sister to be her one woman fan club. Now she has a few more fans and a lot more passion for writing. Reese: A Safe Haven Novella was her first Indie published book. The Rocker That Holds Me changed the tables and kicked off The Rocker… series featuring the sinfully delicious members of Demon’s Wings. Terri Anne lives just outside of Birmingham, AL with her husband and three children.

*I am not compensated to review this book. An eARC was provided for my honest opinion.*

Lana lived all her life studying, being the perfect student and sister. Apart from that, when they moved into the house of the rock gods, The Demon's Wings, she has also been the Angel of one of the demons. She thought to herself that she's never going to fall for him because she's his best friend and she never wanted that to be broken but her feelings for him grew much more deeper until one night.

Drake has been having the same nightmares that gives him the morning sickness. Each night consists of the very same dream he experienced during his childhood. Apart from that, there's Lana, the girl that he opens up to, and soon falls in love with. Not that he's admitted it to her but he knew she's the one to take away the nightmares away from him. And will be his future.

Together, they shattered and healed hearts, mended broken dreams, fought problems, and reunited their once friendship. And love.

Both characters has given me full time emotional breakdown that I have always been in search of in a book, plus the lovey-dovey, kissy-kissy moments that never fail to give me flutters in my stomach. I just love the feeling. Oh and Lucy! I love that girl though she rarely appears in the book. And Mia! Who could not resist such a cute child!

Talk about lack of emotions that I am, I am just really blown away by this magnificent work! It's the usual drama that you know. Remember that moment when you thought everything is OK and suddenly, you screw it up again? Yeah. It's this kind of book and it's so dramatic that I am so worn out crying. Phew! Glad that was over. If you're into some rocker romance or contemporary drama, you should go read this one.

Once again, Terri! I'd never put down a book of yours! I hated doing it but if it means happy ending then, do i have any choice? If it meant reading it again to feel the pain and love at the same time, I'd gladly do so! (:

Okay so, definitely one of my favorite series!
